In my character clay work, I am influenced by movies and television shows. Recreating characters that I have only seen on screen is an enjoyable experience for me as it brings my character to life in a different medium in front of my eyes. Playing with different styles and aspects, I make characters very personable to me. I focus on my favorite features of the characters and exaggerate them by making them bigger or more pronounced to create an even more lovable character.

     Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda, is a character I admire very much. In the show The Mandalorian, he is quiet but holds lots of wisdom. His big eyes have seen a lot of things, sometimes negative, but he remains strong. Grogu has an adorable child-like quality to him, and I hope to have captured that in the piece through the overemphasis of his childish features.
